Best Women’s Dive Watches – Top 5 Affordable Watches for Lady Divers

Until about 50 years ago, diving was considered as an activity that is exclusively for men. Today, more than a third of all trainees are women. For women (and men of course), a nice dive watch can help ensure your safety when diving. And what’s more, a dive watch can be a great fashion accessory as well. It signifies toughness and confidence, which can really belie the “weaker sex” image. For ordinary swimming and jogging activities, it’s a perfect companion.

Fortunately, the best dive watches for women don’t have to be the most expensive. In fact, it’s very possible to buy an excellent dive watch at very affordable price. To drive this point home, here is our list of the best diving watches for women that don’t cost an arm and leg:

Wenger Women’s Sea Force

Wenger has been a supplier of tools for the Swiss Army since 1908, and in 1988 they’ve made the Swiss watch the world’s benchmark for well-crafted watches that combines good looks and timekeeping accuracy.

The Wenger Women’s Sea Force is a great example of this. The case measures 36 inches in diameter and is 10 mm thick. The synthetic sapphire dial window offers superb protection, as it is water resistant up to 200 meters. The bezel rotates with markers from 1 to 20 minutes as well as markers for the 30, 40 and 50-minute mark. And the accurate time is maintained by Swiss quartz movement.

For outdoorsy women who enjoy the waters and/or workout regularly, this Wenger watch works well, and it looks terrific too.

Orient Ms Diver

Orient has earned a first-rate reputation in the watchmaking industry, and the Orient Ms Diver Quartz Watch exemplifies how it has established such a reputation. Like any real dive watch, it’s water resistant up to 200 meters. And that means it can take any other water activity like swimming, washing the hands, and frolicking in the rain with no problem.

The Japanese quartz movement provides extremely accurate timekeeping, and the unidirectional bezel lets you time your workout, swim, or dive accurately. There’s no problem reading the time under the mineral window, since the black dial sets off the white luminous hands and hour markers clearly. Since it’s a dive watch, it’s a bit on the large side at 33 mm. But it still looks great anyway.

Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master

Now the Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master is even larger than the Orient Ms Diver , so in everyday situations no one can mistake your toughness. Its size is designed to help you read the watch dial much more easily, since you can use this even when diving in very deep waters. It’s in fact water resistant up to 500 meters. The hand and hour markers are also luminous.

For accurate timekeeping, it uses Swiss quartz movement, and the unidirectional bezel comes with a 20-minute marker, and the bezel markers are luminous too. There’s an inner ring for military time, and the date is also displayed. The dive watch is triple coated, and the sapphire crystal is scratch resistant as well as anti-reflective.

Momentum M1 Mini

For a dive watch, the Momentum M1 Mini really looks feminine. It’s very subtle, as the case diameter is only 31 mm. The case and the band are stainless steel, which helps to emphasize the pink color of the unidirectional bezel.

In any case, the Momentum M1 Mini is also water resistant for up to 200 meters. Just rotate the bezel and you can time your dive and your workout, and there are even markers for every minute up to the 15-minute mark. The dial is luminous underneath the mineral crystal, so you shouldn’t have any trouble reading the time. With the Japanese quartz movement, its accuracy should be very reliable.

Deep Blue Lady Blue Sea Ramic

This is another decidedly feminine watch. You get a silver-tone stainless steel case, a white ceramic bezel, and a white custom soft silicon strap with matching buckle. But then, the markings on the bezel are yellow, and even the hands are outlined in yellow. Not exactly masculine, eh?

Still, it does have macho features. The dial window is sapphire for excellent scratch resistance, and it’s water resistant up to 500 meters. The case diameter is also 36 mm, which can be very striking on a woman’s wrist. With its dainty design and rugged features, the Deep Blue Lady Blue Sea Ramic certainly makes quite a statement.
