The Best Affordable and Stylish Women’s Watches

Men aren’t the only ones who want to wear affordable watches during weekends when casual wear is the rule. With an inexpensive watch, women will not have to worry that it might get damaged or scratched, and it won’t be the end of the world if it gets lost. It’s also the kind of watch that doesn’t interest muggers, unlike those expensive women’s watches that you’d be too scared to wear in the streets at night.

Of course, women’s casual watches still need to look sophisticated and should match their attire for the day. But it also needs to be functional; it should keep time accurately and be durable as well. A good casual watch is practical and attractive, and you can even buy one at a very affordable price point.

Take a look at these beautiful yet affordable women’s watches:

Timex Women’s Weekender

This Timex Women’s Weekender watch comes with a white dial, simple black hands, and a red arrow for the second hand. The numbers marking the hours are very easy to read, and an inner ring shows military time, which is common for watches made in Europe. It comes with the indiglo night-light. The brass case measures 31mm in diameter and 8 mm thick. Its size is large enough to read the time.

But what really sets this Timex watch apart is the 16mm nylon band. It’s reversible, with navy on one side and polka dots on the other side. The band is made of light breathable fabric, with 10 holes close together so you can get the perfect fit for your wrist.

It’s a simple watch that’s perfect for casual outings, and the band does show some flair. With the navy side showing, it’s easy enough to coordinate it with your outfit.

Casio Women’s Solar Easy Reader

This Casio Women’s watch is solar powered so ladies who hate replacing batteries won’t have any problem with it. It’s an elegant watch and its case has a diameter of 25 mm. The watch has large numbers on the hour markers, and they’re easy to read on the white dial. There’s also a date display.

It’s a no-fuss watch and you can wash your hands without taking it off. It’s water-resistant up to 50 meters. It only weighs 3.52 ounces, even though the case is a bit thick to house the solar cell.

It’s affordable and practical, it looks nice and it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance. It’s perfect for weekends when you don’t need to dress up, and you can take it just about anywhere except perhaps formal functions.

Pulsar Women’s PG2017

If you like something with a bit more pizzazz, you may want to take a look at the Pulsar Women’s PG2017. The size of the case is just right (27 mm in diameter) and it has a thickness of 8 mm. What makes it stand out from other casual watches is that it uses Roman numerals for the hour markers.

The matte silver-tone dial sets off the shiny blue hands, and the second hand sweeps across due to the Japanese quartz movement. Pulsar is under the Seiko umbrella, so you can expect accurate timekeeping. It’s “somewhat water resistant,” which means you can probably wash your hands while wearing it.

The black 14mm leather calfskin band looks great as well, and it does feel comfy. It even fits small wrists nicely.

Timex Women’s Easy Reader

The Timex Easy Reader is the exact opposite of watches with lots of bells and whistles. It’s a very simple watch, with a case measuring 30mm, the numbers are large, and the hands and numbers are distinctly black against the white dial. The second hand is red and much thinner. A quick glance at your watch will easily tell you the time, especially with the indiglo function. The quartz movement ensures that it tells time accurately.

That’s not saying it doesn’t look good, because it does. The stainless steel expansion band looks stylish, and you won’t have to worry about its fit on your wrist.

Casio Baby-G Urban Glide

With a cutesy name like Baby-G, you know right away it’s not marketed for men. But even without knowing its name you can tell just by looking that it’s not a masculine watch at all. Although the case measures 44mm in diameter, the light blue band and dial is a dead giveaway that this is a women’s watch.

Or more accurately, it’s for surfer girls. It’s shock resistant and water resistant up to 100 meters, and the digital display even comes with two different Tide Graph indicators. That’s just one of its many digital features. Outside the surf, this Baby-G can handle a lot of abuse, and it’s also fun to coordinate it with your casual weekend outfit.
